Your warehouse is located outside Switzerland and you need a suitable delivery network here. Or you manufacture to order, but don’t want to maintain your own warehouse. Or you just don’t have enough space. For these and similar situations, our custom cross docking service is a good solution. You can consolidate the delivery of goods and be confident that every shipment will reach the right recipient.

Services in all directions

Consolidated delivery

You deliver your goods pre-picked to the Planzer warehouse best located for your purposes. We store your goods in our transshipment warehouse as completely picked orders or partial deliveries until the defined delivery date.

Electronic delivery note

In parallel to the physical delivery, you send us the appropriate electronic despatch advice (DESADV) with the relevant logistics data for incoming goods processing and delivery of your goods.

Complete order data

Your goods must have a shipping label and be coded with the order data, the Serial Shipping Container Code SSCC or a carton number. This is the only way we can record the physical delivery by scan in your despatch advice.

Staging and loading

You notify us of the desired delivery date (same day or next day). We get the transport units ready and load them onto the truck. If you wish, we can print out your delivery note with your layout and logo and enclose it with the delivery.

Track your delivery

You can choose from the following tracking options:

  • Unloading report of the delivered goods (as an Excel document)
  • Electronic goods receipt report RECADV, via electronic data interchange EDI
  • Status message via EDI after staging for goods issue
  • Access data for general cargo shipments and overnight express in our ‘Track&Trace’ system. The delivery confirmation is ready for you online no later than 3 minutes after your customer’s signature.
