Dangerous goods aren’t just a part of your everyday, but also ours. It begins with the receipt of the goods and ends with their safe delivery or proper disposal. We transport and store any hazardous material, with the exception of radioactive material. We also implement the hazardous goods regulations and your in-house specifications to the letter. Our drivers are all ADR trained and keep their skills up to date.

Receipt of goods

We subject your shipments to an inspection or, depending on the risk level, a double inspection for damage and labelling. We have separate teams in place for this that will also carry out corrections of noncompliant labelling. In the event of damage, the goods are salvaged safely and in accordance with the regulations and immediately disposed of or returned.

Particularly hazardous substances require particularly safe storage. Planzer Birsfelden is the only site in Switzerland that is able and allowed to store certain hazardous substances.

Value-added services

We can also pick and pack hazardous goods as ordered by you. We also procure any consumables that we need for to carry out the job. Learn more about our packing and picking services.

Samples for product approval

Specially trained employees carry out the sampling of solids and liquids in accordance with the applicable regulations and procedures. They sort, inspect and prepare the shipments for sampling in accordance with ADR or GMP guidelines, assign the labelling and process the orders and documentation in full compliance with all necessary quality assurance measures. Changeover of sampling systems to different products is also carried out in accordance with applicable specifications.

Preparing for dispatch

This includes precise and resource-optimised scheduling for the appropriate or prescribed modes of transport, accurate preparation of the goods for shipment and finally the rule-compliant shipment itself.

Dangerous goods transports

We handle the transport of your hazardous goods based on the general provisions of the ADR (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) and national law. Our trained drivers ensure the professional handling of hazardous materials and thus the safety of people and the environment.


Due to their composition and properties, the environmentally sound disposal of hazardous goods usually requires special technical and organisational measures. We are optimally equipped for proper disposal.

In our customer portal, you will find a range of apps for managing your transport and warehouse logistics data around the clock. Here is an overview of the key apps:

This is our web-based warehouse logistics tool for business and private customers. Here you can enter packing and picking orders, manage your warehouse master data, view your inventory, manage blocking status as well as view and export delivery notes or invoice attachments. We electronically archive all documents relating to your stored goods. 

Track your general cargo, parcel, Home Services and overnight shipments in (almost) real time. As soon as we receive the goods, we apply an electronic tag to every shipping unit. So you always know exactly where your shipment is. As soon as we have delivered it, the delivery confirmation will be available to you as a PDF no later than three minutes after the recipient has signed it. You can also adapt automatic notifications to the needs of your customers. 

This app helps you manage your transport orders quickly and securely. You can enter them right in the system or change key data such as recipient instructions, delivery time or type of goods. All data from current orders is continuously retained so you can view it at any time.

Automatic data transfer

Our IT department uses an electronic data interface (EDI) to link your ERP software with our transport or warehouse logistics system – or both. This ensures that all transport-related data such as sender and recipient, type of goods, number of items, packaging, gross weight, dimensions and all the information required for warehouse logistics such as article master data, production order, parts list, customer order, status bookings and returns handling match your ERP data. If you do not want an EDI interface, you can enter your orders manually in our customer portal.
